This is the coat Gabe surprised me with for Christmas. There was no way I could wait until New Years Eve to wear it! Forgetaboutit. These pictures don't depict it too wonderfully but, boy, do I love it! The sleeves are so swingy and ruffled I almost had a conniption fit the first time I tried it on. I would never spend that much on an item of clothing so it was really special that my guy wanted to buy it for me. :) I'll be wearing it for years to come. He also gave me these plush tights I'm wearing. They are SO soft inside I could wear them to bed. They are that comfy. I need them in every color but they're $35 each so maybe just one more pair. They are amazing, though, and highly recommended by yours truly. I had to exchange the original pair he got me because the hanger had snagged them inside. I had a feeling they would treat me like a criminal in the store and sure enough they treated us like we had come in, stolen them, ripped them without even taking them out of the package, and then came back to ask for a new pair. It's pretty disheartening that they assume us to be thieves or liars. BUT, they did exchange the tights so it's water under the bridge even though they made Gabe and I feel yucky inside. Anyway, the point is that they are ridiculously comfortable and warm.

Have a Cherry Christmas Philosophy body wash. I get one of these most every Christmas and Birthday from my mom. Decadence!
Disneyland Pass! Yes!
So, I'm going to try to get a video together to post in the next couple of days! It should be fun! I also want to do a year recap like I've seen others do and really enjoyed reading. That is right up my alley!

That is literally THE most perfect coat in the history of coats. I quite love the sleeves, and the way you can wear it as a cape as well. Red lips look quite perfect on you too. Love everything.

ReplyDeletei had a similar thing happen to me over a pair of tights. I bought some nice ones for my best friend's wedding only to open the package and have them have a huge snag. When i took them back they just looked at me like I was lying... it did feel awful... but i got the new pair. I mean if you are spending that much money on a pair of tights you should make sure you get your money's worth. :D
