I was thrilled beyond words (just ask Gabe) to receive a few more pieces from Urban 1972. Love, love, love this cropped trench coat and Lacy shorts. It's a super hot October 1st! We went out for coffee this morning and just hung out with our Birdie the rest of the afternoon. Now I'm trying to work but Birdie is distracting me by sniffing around, trying to chew on everything, and generally being cute.
Today I am pretty much overwhelmed with happiness.
I let Birdie try my scarf on because she wouldn't shut up about it. She's really into florals this fall. I don't know. (:
I saw a pair of shoes exactly like those but in black at my favorite vintage/thrift store and I thought of you. What size shoe do you wear? If it's 9.5 then I should just get them for you and we could do some kind of fun trade, haha. Those peach ones are the ultimate, though!

ReplyDeleteWhen I read your blog post title all I could think of was the end of "Some Kind of Wonderful" when Keith tells Watts "you look good wearing my future". LOVE it. I've never tried a scarf on my puppy, but I'm pretty sure she'd look cute in anything. I'll definitely have to keep checking in on your store - I am SUCH a fan of anything vintage. Totally wish I had grown up in the 50's and 60's if only for the fashion. I SO feel you on your love for Bye Bye Birdie (very cute name for your pup btw). I'm so glad my mom introduced that movie to me when I was little - I think I wore the tape out since I watched it just about every sick day from elementary on. My husband just bought it for me for my birthday - can't say he completely enjoyed it, but I enjoy it enough for the two of us. =) I look forward to following your blog!
