So, I felt especially Flinstones-esque today. I usually do when I have a high bun going on. My idol Ann-Margret was once a guest star and her character's name was Ann-Margrock. Genius! I wore my new Rachel Comeys out for the first time! Someone reviewed them and said "These shoes are so ugly I wouldn't wear them even if someone gave them to me". Well, one girls nightmare gift is another girls new favorite shoes. Why would anyone randomly give her these really specific shoes as a gift anyway?
Well, this was a day of fun, fun, and more fun. It was too cold to wear this dress Spotted Moth sent me as an actual dress but I'm stubborn and I still really wanted to wear it because I had planned to wear it, doggonit! So, it became a top. I can always wear it as a dress later. Crisis averted! Jk.
(Dress- c/o Spotted Moth, Pants- H&M, Bow Belt- from a vintage dress, Shoes- Rachel Comey, Bag- Topshop)
We got a new camera (Nikon D90). I'm trying to learn the ropes!
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

I never would have looked twice at shoes like that--but you totally rock them :) haha. you made me laugh though. That reviewer was so offended; she must have had a lot of time on her hands to go out of her way to leave a review. The dress as top is so whimsical and pretty.

ReplyDeleteHey, I love your wisdom from the Rachel Comey hater. I, personally, wouldn't purchase these shoes, but they look FAB on you. I would, however, not turn them down if someone offered them! I love Rachel Comey's shoes! I have just been lusting after a different pair ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that you still wore the dress as a shirt! I think only a few dresses allow that to happen but this looks great on you. very cute.
Your dress is so cute! I saw a similar one, except that it was a shirt/blouse, in H&M and am always attracted to it when I go in there... it's just so pretty and romantic looking! Makes me want to dance around in a garden of some sort. :)
