It's our finest hour.

I feel like there should have been a '90s soft rock video filmed at this location. Maybe there was. I'm thinking Wilson Phillips. Or we could go in a completely different direction and guess The Judds. I missed my calling to be a location scout in the early 90s. I guess I was busy playing with all my Barbie cars. My favorites were the red Ferrari, the VW Rabbit, and the '57 Chevy. My Barbies had some good times! They went to a lot of drive-in movies because I couldn't think of anywhere else for them to go that they would have to stay in the car. Oh dear, it looks like my train of type has wandered off somewhere.

This is my outfit. I cropped the sleeves and some of the collar off this blouse because...I wanted to. :) Also, I'm wearing yet another flowy midi dress. Can't get enough.

I wanted to show you that Birdie sits like this with me every time I sew. She's fascinated by the thread. It's probably the cutest thing I've ever experienced. She looks so studious! She's my little buddy...always. :)

Have a happy weekend! It's not warm enough in LA for my weekend tastes so I might convince Gabe to day trip to Palm Springs. Will keep you posted. ;)

    awww Birdie is so adorable! My Oreo refuses to sit anywhere else but on my left thigh when we're in the car.

    The picture of Birdie and the sewing machine is too cute to handle!

    Surprise, surprise, I had the red Ferrari and '57 Chevy Barbie cars, too. I think the Chevy is still at my parents' house. Wouldn't let my mom get rid of it!

    My Dad's dog is exactly the same but with paper! When I made paper snowflakes at Christmas she was transfixed- it was so lovely....Leave a pile of paper anywhere and she WILL go and sit on it...
