Simple Southern Summer (+ necklace giveaway!)

Well, ok, it's not a southern summer, I just wish it was. A southern summer sounds so appealing to me right now. I imagine myself sitting on the porch with Birdie and a neverending glass of Peach Lemonade. I've never had Peach Lemonade, but if I ever have a Southern Summer, I will surely be making it with fresh peach puree. Bet your boots!

This look just feels like summer for me. All I need is a tank that breathes and flows, longer length shorts, sandals, and a top knot. Ok, I guess it's kind of a lot of things to need. :)

    what a gorgeous necklace! i've visited their site (love all their necklaces) and liked them on FB. i remember reading "tell tale heart" in HS and in college (i'm an english teacher). i also remember enjoying an episode of the simpsons when they used poe's idea of the story in a halloween episode to show lisa simpson's guilt when she cheated on a science project.

    also, ever since i started following your blog, i find myself being drawn to anything in mint color.....you wear it so well!

    The Telltale Hearts is one of my favorites (: Beautiful simple necklace. That and you pull off blunt bangs better than anyone else I've ever seen.
