Hi everyone! This is what I wore for my Gabey's birthday this weekend. It also happens to be my first post for the amazing Dahlia blog. I just adore all the Dahlia pieces so I'm excited to be blogging over there once a month.
"We" had a great birthday. We headed to the Charles Dickens street festival in Franklin and it really was like a Hallmark Christmas movie come to life...there was a petting zoo, characters from the Dickens era, and lots of festive holiday people. I feel like a windowed girl and guy were fated to meet that day and begin to fall in love again a la every Lifetime/Hallmark/Ion/ABC Family Christmas movie. :) Birdie got to come too and she even had a stare down with a goat and a llama!
I will disclose that I am wearing 3 (three) pairs of (thick) tights. It worked and it was about 40 degrees. I was nice and toasty and it was really just a perfect Christmas kind of day. :)
Dress: c/o Dahlia
Shoes: Dieppa Restrepo
Cape: c/o Romwe
Fur vest: H&M
Bag: Vintage
Oh, look at this adorable "pancake" cake my sister made for Gabe for his birthday. He really likes pancakes. :) Her and my mom made Gabe a fabulous dinner for his day. They are certainly the best and I so thankful for them. I'm also thankful to have such a wonderful partner in life. He's also certainly the best!
There's so much joy to be found. You just have to choose to find it. I promise.
Have a happy weekend! :)
XO, Coury
Oh my, this outfit is absolutely perfect. Black and green make the perfect combination, I think! Just love those "pancakes" too!

that dress is perfect. Christmas in Tennessee sounds great! All you need now is the Amy Grant Christmas CD....which is my very favorite.
