Candy Land.

Ok, WHY do pastel candy colors make me so happy? Thinking of things that I am grateful for is usually a daily occurrence for me anyway but hearing someone else affirm that this is a healthy thing to do certainly helps. I heard the gorgeous sweetheart Goldie Hawn suggest that we all do this daily as it increases our happiness. Totally! It's nice for me especially in January. It hasn't even been a cold winter but I get a little down even in winter in LA. I just crave the warm sun so much! It'll be May before we know it. That's on my grateful list today: The sun will always shine again. Every year, without fail, warm days will come. It's a comforting thought for me.

I've also been doing a lot of fun, colorful projects inside the house and I really can't recommend that enough either. I did these glitter flats the other day. Here are the instructions if you'd like to try it. It feels like you're in a fairy tale when you're walking around in glitter shoes. I promise.

Speaking of fairy tales, my sweet little buddy Birdie and I are watching "Once Upon a Time" and loving it. I'm thankful that fairy tales were written and we still get to enjoy the classics with new spins.

Oh yeah, and my hair is partly pink! It was just a trial run to see if I want to pinkify my whole head. I'm thinking yes.
