Hi guys! How has 2012 been for you so far? I couldn't ask for anything better for us. We've had sun every day and have been working hard like busy little worker bees. Today I am especially appreciating my house. I could go on and on about it, but I'll just do that in my head. Today I have given a lot of thought to paint colors (fascinating...I know). It seems like such a waste to paint over the freshly painted walls we moved in to but this beigey color is not working for me. I need brightness! I need contrast! I need color! We can do some of the painting ourselves but our living room has about 25 foot ceilings so that's not going to happen. Little by little. Usually we only stay in a place for a year or so so it's hard for me to take things slow and realize that we'll be here for awhile and not to be in such a rush.

Anyway, babbling!

The weather here is really confusing me! One day it's 27 degrees and the next it's 60! I'm really thankful that it's not 27 every day but I still need to get out to some warm weather soon this month. I'm sure most of you agree that January is the worst month of the year. Anybody from New Orleans? I'm planning a weekend trip there for us this month..and one to the Savannah beach, Tybee Island...good? Tips? We will be driving because A. The drive is half the fun and B. The drive is 1/4 the price of plane tickets...especially when you drive a Prius. :) You can take two trips for the same price. DONE!

Anyway, blabbing again!
