Well, we all know I'm a huge Disneyland fan, but Palm Springs gives D-land a real run for it's money. I've said it many times before, but I really don't know exactly why I love PS so much. I obviously love Palm trees, but I think my love for palm trees came after loving Palm Springs. We were out in LA and couldn't pass up the chance to get to PS so easily so we stayed a couple of nights at The Saguaro. We usually stay at The Ace but the prices, because of Coachella this weekend, were not justifiable. Maybe if I actually liked crowds and "cool" parties...but I do not. I like old people and quiet families. The Saguaro was intensely colorful as you'll see in these little sneaky peak pics. I'll share more next time.
Well, as luck would have it, it rained one day when we were there. What are the odds? (The odds are very slim...it's the desert.) We still had so much fun despite the light rain at times. The sky was so pretty with all those extra clouds and it was still warm enough to lay by the pool. I am excited to go back when it's 110 degrees this summer, though!
What's your happiest place on earth? I want to make a list of all your places and go visit each and every one. Wouldn't that just be the most fun?? ♥
So here are some photos. I have ridiculous amounts more to share this week and it works out nicely because I am not feeling too swell! Must have caught something on the plane...how could you not catch something on a plane? Flying is kinda gross. Anyway, I'll enjoy editing travel photos all week and sharing. Travel posts are my absolute favorite. They are outfit, food, and life posts all rolled into one! I decided I want to be a full time travel blogger...ok, I'll get to working on that. ;)
Dress: Romwe

Anyway, hope you guys are doing good! I feel like I've been off the blogging scene forever. Haha.
Oh, and I'll announce the giveaway winner in the next couple of days...sorry...so much going on in my world right now! Got a million emails to answer and a million packages to send! No weekend for this lil gal!
XO, Coury
You look amazing in that sheer top/pleated skirt/dress. I have been to Palm Desert with my parents but I was kind of trapped in a walled-in golf course city and didn't enjoy it as much as I could have. Can't wait to hear about Coachella!
ReplyDeleteYour posts are all so colourful. I love your pink cheeks!
ReplyDeleteIm heading to the us in July, LA, Vegas, new york and miami. Any travel advice? Places to see?

ReplyDeletePalm Springs is the best. I wouldn't call it my happiest place, but I've had wonderful memories there. My happiest place would probably be San Francisco. If we could pack up and leave LA tomorrow, that's where we'd go.
ReplyDeleteLove your travel pics as always. Good to have you back!

ReplyDeleteIts so funny you should be on here 2day w/ this, because I was watching that 8 show short series (a teen drama they billed it as but not really) about PS! Love the OOTD, the coffee, the waffle, and YOU, for sharing your time in the desert!!! Agree w/ you on quietness. My favorite places that invigorate me include the ocean (especially OBX) and here by my Blue Ridge Mountains where I live now.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, what a colorful hotel!! I love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd Palm Springs is so darn amazing. California in general is wonderful. I was born there and lived there a few years. I miss it!

This post made me smile. It's so energetic! How can you pick one happiest place?! Goodness! I'd have to say I truly enjoy walking the streets of New York (not in the summer), driving through Oklahoma, and walking the streets of Beijing when a bunch of little Asian cuties are running around walking to school. So precious!
ReplyDeleteThe hotel looks great and it is really one of the happiest place of the earth. The location of the hotel and things nearby is really eye catching. Thanks for sharing.
