Springin' & flingin' in floral & espadrilles.

Hello everyone! I don't know if you were aware of this, but, It's FRIDAY. Our first real weekend in years starts today. Excitement!

So, Nine West sent myself and a bunch of other bloggers espadrilles and accessories to style for their Spring collection! I would normally never wear shoes like this because they make me 6'2". But boy, did I have fun wearing them! I felt like a real Palm Springs summer lady (and that's a good thing in my book). I guess everyone should have a pair of 5" heels in their closet. It really surprised me how easy they were to walk in and...almost...comfortable. Who would have thought??

Once I opened the box, I knew they had to go with a full vintage-y dress. I got this one on a ridiculous sale at Anthropologie. It's absolutely gorgeous with rock solid workmanship. Bonus: I can wear it if I get pregnant someday!

Like usual, I toned it down with a boyish jacket so I could go to a casual dinner with Gabe and my parents but still feel a little fancypants.

    sometimes it is fun when shoes make you over 6 feet tall. I have a few like that and it is funny because my husband is three inches shorter than me when I'm barefoot and I become an amazon princess with heels on hahaha. it's fun, I think. I'm odd. Anyway these shoes are really pretty and I think your dress is gorgeous!! that's great that you got some free shoes!!
