It's heavenly music to me.

Hi!

So, someone commented here and let me know about the Anthropologie Accessories store in the Green Hills Mall here in Nashville. Thank you! I was completely overwhelmed in there. So many shoes and so much jewelry. Pretty much all my bags and rings are from Anthro. I don't really buy many pieces of clothing there but the accessories get me every time so a whole store with just accessories was kind of crazy. The shopgirls kept asking me if I needed help because I looked like a lost puppy (either that or they thought I was going to shoplift??? Why do I always feel like they think that?? I have NEVER and WILL NEVER EVER steal anything..gross). I'll have to gather my bearings and go back with more of an idea of what I want to buy. You've got to visit if you haven't. Get ready shopgirls, I'll be there every other day.

Well, that was a pointless rambling paragraph if I ever did see one. It's my blog though, so isn't that the point? :)

All is well here. Gabe and I are working like crazy because we're leaving on our vacation in 4 days and counting! We both need a suitcase but it absolutely kills me to spend any money on a suitcase. All I can think about is the pair of shoes I could buy instead. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet!

I am starving and it's Friday night. What will we eat tonight? I wanted to try Mas Tacos tonight but it looks like it's getting too late. I mean, a fried avocado taco? Gimme a break with the deliciousness!

Anyway, here's what I wore today. :)

Sweater: c/o Romwe
Dress: Fancy Treehouse
Shoes: Asos
Bag: Anthro

  1. Glad you found an Anthropoligie near you! I do find it strange when sales associates follow me around and constantly try to help me, I just think maybe they are going overboard to try to do their job? Anyways, you look so cute, and adore those beautiful boots!

  5. I don't know if this will appeal to you or not, but I needed a suitcase for my trip to NY and found a vintage one with wheels. It defintley wasn't a carryon size, but it worked for what I needed it for and it held about 6 days worth of outfits. And I found it in a thrift store for $7.

  10. i like your rambles. i just realized that you're gonna probably have to dress completely differently in nashville than LA because the climates are different. aren't they? i wanna fried avocado taco too! i always wonder what else i could've bought when i have to spend money on something i don't really want to pay for. coury you're looking good in the woods with your blues on!

  17. Aahhh, I've yet to find an Anthro shop near me. And I know exactly what you mean with shop girls following you all over the store, giving you funny looks, and continually asking you if you need help with something. Or when they're whispering to another worker and looking at you...I hate that. It always makes me feel so awkward.

Anywho, I'm glad you're liking it in Nashville so far! :) I love seeing your outfit photos in your backyard...it must be so nice and lovely. ♥

  25. That store sounds amazing! I feel like every time I go shopping alone, I get the same treatment, but if I go with a friend or my boyfriend, I get asked if I/we need help maybe once and then left alone. I've never shoplifted in my life, either, and never will, so I hate it when I feel like I'm being watched that way. :(

  26. Omgosh, I wish there were an Anthropologie accessories store here in LA. That would just be magical. I'd probably have the same exact reaction as you. And these pictures are pretty!
