Donut Market.

So, we are currently living a 5 minutes walk from the farmer's market and it provides a sure thing Saturday morning activity. I think calling it a farmer's market is a bit of a stretch as it's mostly baked goods. Oh well, I guess that's Tennessee for you and all that really matters is that the donuts are to die for. This week they had Strawberry Shortcake and they were ridiculously good. It's pretty fun that we get to live so close to Downtown Franklin until our house is built (It seems like it will never be done but it will!) Time is a curious thing and I found myself sobbing tonight while finishing up putting Goldie to sleep at the thought of Jim Henson's life being over. I know...but really I was sobbing for the passing of time and the quirks of our ancestors being buried and forgotten. I want Goldie's children to know EVERYTHING about my parents. If I want this to happen I have to load Goldie up with stories (written and spoken)...and I will.  It's important to me.

On a lighter note, here's my Donut Market outfit. Ha ha! Sorry.

I'm wearing:
Dress: Fancy Treehouse
Blouse: AA
Boots: Call it Spring

  5. I do believe all of the ideas you've offered to your post. They are very convincing and will definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too short for newbies. May you please lengthen them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.

  7. coury, i adore your donut market outfit! that's why i make scrapbooks and keep journals because i'm nostalgic. if you find you don't have time to write down the stories, you can make her little videos where you are talking. although,i imagine goldie is gonna want to have snippets of actual handwriting because each of our's is distinctive. so maybe you can collect notes from others too. you probably already do this. :)
