Free as we'll ever be.

The beach towns of Central California are so distinct. We met up with Gabes family for the "weekend" and lived like the locals. Jk. Total tourists!
It was pretty chilly which is nice for August. When we got back here to LA it was blazin'! Now we are finishing painting our new loft. Let me tell you, we underestimate the high ceilings. If I ever have to go back to home depot again I'll lose it! We did get fun pastries and I got a faux Angeleno at Bottega Louie this morning before we started so that definitely helped!

I had been on the lookout for a big ivory cardigan and I love this one! I might not even sell it! Ha. I also saw a picture of a girl wearing a peach skirt and red bag and fell in love with the color combo. I think it's my new forest green/lavender. :)

Other than that, I loved seeing Gabe with our niece, London. Especially now that I got babies on the brain! Can't wait.

What I wore, what I saw, what I did.
Well, now you know after you don't hear from me for awhile you will get bombarded with a million pictures when you do hear from me. :)
Had a great time..now back to moving reality. The reality is, it sucks...and I don't say "sucks".

Love to all!

  4. Beautiful pictures and niece. I like pops of red with just about anything, which is probably why my red shoes are falling apart.

  7. Amazing pictures. I always love your photography, is the washed out feel an effect that's edited in, or are these the way the photos are shot. I'm just starting to learn about editing, I feel so lost!

  15. You are too darn cute! I think we must be style soul mates... I just recently found your blog, and it's a new favorite. And perfectly fitting that we both have "fancy" in our blog titles, ha! (Mine is Fancy Fine.) Thanks for the inspiration!
